MAKE A MEAL OF IT

Low Energy, Low Waste, Delicious!

Make a Meal Of It is our exciting cooking demonstration project delivered in partnership with Dunns Food and Drinks, designed to make local cooking more affordable, sustainable, and accessible for everyone.

Through hands-on demonstrations, participants discover how to create tasty, nutritious meals using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients — while learning practical ways to cut energy use, save money, and reduce food waste at home.

Each session features live, theatre-style cooking with Head Chef, Donnie Munro, who shares expert tips and techniques for low-energy cooking, smart ingredient swaps, and waste-free recipes that make the most of every bite.

Whether you’re a confident cook or a complete beginner, Make a Meal Of It offers a fun, friendly space to explore sustainable food choices that are good for your wallet, your wellbeing, and the planet.
