Become a positive smoke-free role model with happy children and adults.

Positive Smoke Free Role Models

To support and promote our goals throughout Lanarkshire, we’re asking you to take the pledge to become a Positive Smoke-Free Role Model for children, young people and others in your community.

Whether it’s making your home and car smoke-free, encouraging work colleagues to go smoke-free, or positively influencing others to get involved and take the pledge, you can be a Positive Smoke-Free Role Model. You don’t have to smoke to take the pledge, everyone can get involved.

The Positive Smoke-Free Role Model programme is a partnership between Community Links and NHS Lanarkshire. The programme has a particular focus on:

  • Preventing children and young people from becoming the next generation of people who smoke
  • Protecting children, adults and pets from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke
